Thomas E. Traver

Thomas E. Traver, 49, of Prattsville, NY passed unexpected at his home on Sunday, June 25, 2017. Tom was born November 1. 1967, and was a lifelong resident of Prattsville. He worked as a Heavy Equipment Operator for Mtn. Top Excavating and was known for his extraordinary rock wall building skills. Tom loved hunting; gardening, cooking and word games. When he was not working could be found hunting or working in his large flower and vegetable gardens. The greatest gift of Tom was his generous heart. He gave freely to many especially his family and never expected a return. He loved his family very much especially his mother and his nieces and nephews. He is survived by his mother Sandy Traver, Prattsville; four brothers, Raymond, John, Glenn and Michael; two sisters, Kathy and Mary Jane; several nieces and nephews and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. He is preceded in death by his father, Raymond Traver. A memorial services were held on Friday, June 30, at the St. Philip Neri church in Grand Gorge, NY,
