Wilfred Rapp

Amsterdam- Wilfred F."Rick" Rapp, 69, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 19, 2016. He was born in Albany, NY on November 15, 1947 to the late Wilfred and Orvilla (nee Mosley) Rapp. Rick was a local dairy farmer for many years but was employed for the majority of his career in the steel industry. He most recently worked for STS Steel in Schenectady, NY. He is survived by his wife Susan; his children Stacey Rapp (Earl Grant), Richard (Diane) Rapp, Brian Rapp , (Sarah Rasmussen) and Holly Roth (Jeff Liberty); his sister Charlene Rapp; his step children William Conway and Tara (Ron) Kaneg; his grandchildren Spencer Rapp, Tyler Rapp, Kyle Roth, Ronnie Kaneg; and several extended family members. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 22, 2016 from 3-7PM at Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main Street, Altamont, NY. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at 11AM at the funeral home. Interment will be at Prospect Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Rick's memory to a Brittany Spaniel Rescue Organization of ones choice.
