William Edward Higgins

William E. Higgins, formally of Main Street Windham, passed away peacefully on March 21, 2018, at the age of 87. He was born on January 30, 1931 to Margaret (Rooney) and Edward in Hamburg, NY. He was predeceased by his wife of 40 years, Judith (Watts) Higgins in 1997. He is survived by his children Margaret (Cook), James, and Kathleen; six grandchildren and companion Annie McArdle. Visitation will be held at Decker Funeral Home, Windham, NY on Monday April 2 at 9:30 AM, followed by a mass of Christian Burial at 11 AM at St. Theresa's Church and interment at Ashland Cemetery. Donations in memory of Bill can be made to Windham Knights of Columbus or East Durham American Legion.
